ExpoIQ is an online marketplace platform that allows businesses to connect. Find the partners whose products or services are right for you without the necessity of going to expos or trade events.
Project idea
ExpoIQ turned to Apiko team to build a customized online B2B marketplace from scratch that will effectively help users to connect with business professionals. Through a deep search process and the possibility to send introductions and book video calls, users can easily get in touch.
Businesses need to stay ahead of the changes in their niche. And with the spread of coronavirus, the changes in the trade show industry were inevitable, which gave rise to a new format of meeting business professionals. Val Tsanev, Apiko’s client, is a founder of ExpoIQ - a B2B marketplace that offers sales representatives and C-suites a new way to meet each other on the platform.
Before the pandemic, Val Tsanev had had a different idea for his business. Having been deeply involved in the B2B events industry, he saw that it was one of the biggest and most impactful industries in the US. However, he also noticed that the process of connecting event organizers and exhibitors was inefficient and could be improved by building a marketplace that would make those interactions possible.
Though face-to-face interactions remain essential in B2B communication, what to do when you can’t meet at the events, e.g. during the COVID-19 pandemic? With ExpoIQ, it is no longer a challenge. Users can now connect on the platform by viewing profiles and booking video calls with business professionals. Val Tsanev chose the IT sector to begin with, but eventually, he plans to grow and reach all the other sectors in the trade show industry.
